Logo and Slogan Design Competition for Vietnam Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment

On February 7, 2025, the Youth Union of the National Institute for Food Safety and Hygiene Testing successfully organized the Award Ceremony for the Logo and Slogan Design Contest with the participation of 7 authors with 10 impressive entries, each entry carrying a unique message and its own creative style.

After more than a month of implementing the logo design contest for the Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment hosted by the Youth Union of the National Institute for Food Safety and Hygiene Testing, after a rigorous selection round and giving the judges a headache. On February 7, 2025, authorized by the Center for Risk Assessment, the Youth Union of the Institute successfully organized the "Award Ceremony for the Logo and Slogan Design Contest for the Center for Risk Assessment".

This event attracted 7 authors who are all members of the Institute with 10 entries. The works all have their own unique features and creative styles, but all convey a message of sustainable development and growth in the new era.

At the ceremony, the head of the Food Safety Risk Assessment Center, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Cao Son, shared his recognition of the capacity and boundless creativity of the Institute's "amateur designers". Although the designs were somewhat scribbled, they clearly demonstrated the efforts and intelligence of the Institute's members. The contest was not only an opportunity for the members to show their talents but also helped the Institute discover mysterious factors.

The entries are as follows:

First Prize for Logo Design: belongs to the work of comrade Do Duc Thach - Department of Material Planning and Information Technology.

Surpassing many quality works, comrade Do Duc Thach excellently won the First Prize for logo design with a breakthrough idea, harmoniously combining aesthetics, profound messages and innovative creativity. His design uses a stylized image of the letter V, symbolizing the country of Vietnam, combined with a creative design of a pair of wings, symbolizing the combination of technology and the environment. The creativity in colors and lines has helped the work stand out, conveying the message of prestige, innovation and strategic vision of the Center.

Other particpants include:

1. Design by Do Truc Quynh - Faculty of Nutrition and Food Additives: The logo combines the images of "protective shield" and "supporting hand", symbolizing safety, prestige and the spirit of companionship, protecting the community from all risks.

2. Design by Nguyen Van Khoa - Faculty of Research and Development: The beautiful creativity of the letter S, imbued with the spirit of the Vietnamese people, combined with a magnifying glass, symbolizing research and exploration.

3. Designs by Nguyen Quang Ngoc and Nguyen Dang Chien - Department of Quality Assurance: Simple yet sophisticated, giving readers an unforgettable feeling.

4. Design by Nguyen Thi Lan - Department of Finance and Accounting: The only hand-drawn logo combines the image of the rising sun (symbolizing a new beginning, hope), a magnifying glass (representing careful analysis) and the Vietnamese flag (affirming national identity), conveying a message of development, meticulousness and national pride.

5. Design by Le Thi Thanh Binh - Department of State Inspection of Imported Food: The logo combines the image of a shield (symbolizing protection, safety) and a star of hope (representing optimism, guidance), conveying a message of reliability and a bright future.

In addition, the Center also awarded the best and most impressive slogan. In the slogan category, comrade Le Thi Thanh Binh conquered the Jury with a powerful and determined slogan: "SAFETY ASSESSMENT - STABLE DEVELOPMENT". This message not only affirms the core role of the Center in analyzing and preventing risks but also demonstrates the proactive spirit, aiming to build a safe and sustainable community. The conciseness, ease of remembering, and richness in meaning helped Binh's slogan win the hearts of the judges.

The award ceremony ended in a joyful and inspiring atmosphere. The logo design of Do Duc Thach and the slogan of Le Thi Thanh Binh will become the official symbols of the Center, accompanying the journey of spreading knowledge and raising public awareness about risk assessment. The Center for Risk Assessment would like to express our sincere thanks to all the participants and hope that the competition will continue to inspire creativity for meaningful projects in the future.
