The Safe Food for Growth (SAFEGRO) project, funded by the Government of Canada, seeks to improve access to safe, affordable, and competitive agricultural food for the Vietnamese people. The project aims not only to improve the well-being of both men and women but also to support the sustainable development of agricultural producers, processors, and traders. SAFEGRO is developed by Alinea International, an international consulting firm specializing in sustainable development, in close collaboration with the University of Guelph – one of the world's leading universities in agricultural research and food safety.
