VFSA belongs to the NIFC which is a leading authority responsible for conducting comprehensive food testing to safeguard public health and support regulatory enforcement. NIFC subject to state management of medical professional activities of the Ministry of Health and state management agencies in related fields according to the provisions of law. Furthermore, NIFC is assigned as the national reference laboratory in the field of food testing by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Industry and Trade.  Adhering to the "Accuracy- Honest- Unbiased- Reliable and Timly" quality policy, NIFC and VFSA are dedicated to maintaining the scientific rigor, objectivity, and accuracy of their published results.

ANALYTICAL TESTING

The food industry is a highly competitive and continuously evolving market in terms of both product quantity and product quality. Simultaneously, technical requirements for ensuring product quality are becoming increasingly stringent. To meet these evolving demands, NIFC consistently develops new testing methods to effectively monitor and control all quality and safety indicators of food available on the market. NIFC operates 8 specialized laboratories, including Heavy Metals and Minerals, Food microbiology and Genetically modified food, Chemical Residues and Contaminants in Food, Nutrients and Food Additives, Food Toxicology and Allergens, Research and Development, Experiments on Animals and Plants, and Quality Assurance, which provide more than 470 biological tests and 1500 chemical tests.
