The Importance of Risk Assessment and Risk Analysis in Food Safety

Recognizing the growing need for expertise in food safety risk management, the Vietnam Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment (VFSA), under the Vietnam National Institute for Food Control (NIFC), is collaborating with SAFEGRO to organize two professional training programs: Advanced Risk Assessment Training for Food Safety Risk Assessors and Risk Analysis Training for Food Safety Managers. These courses, taught by leading experts, are designed to equip professionals with the latest tools and techniques in food safety risk management.
Understanding Risk Assessment and Risk Analysis in Food Safety
Risk assessment in food safety is a scientific process used to evaluate potential hazards in food products. It involves identifying biological, chemical, and physical risks, assessing their likelihood and severity, and determining necessary control measures.
